What are your opinions on this spoiler?

As soon as i first laid eyes on my 2000 I30 i've been thinking about a spoiler and sunroof visor being mandatory for this car. Now that i have the sunroof visor installed, i was wondering what you guys think about this spoiler. Do you htink its worth it? Is it a good price? Or should i just stick with factory? This spoiler claims to be "lighter" than OEM but up to OEM specs.

If you're going to get that style, might as well get the cheapest OEM replica you can find as they all are pretty much the same. The OEM spoiler from the dealer is going to be damn near identical for a lot more $$$.

I, personally, can't stand the style of that spoiler.

Hence why I run a trunk lip.

But ultimately, decision is yours.

So, which one do YOU want?

M3 style... Stock looks to big and doesn't match the lines of the car.

Have you tried www.spoilerdepot.com? Not to be picky but, I don't really like the M3 spoiler. The back of the A33 looks to plain and the lip spoiler is to unnoticeable to really stand out. IMHO, both spoilers serve there purpose depending on what you are trying to do with the car. The luxury stock look with chrome wheels and no sporty look then I say go with the M3 spoiler, but if you are trying to give the A33 a really sporty look, then I say go with the stock spoiler. I am obviously into sport, so stock spoiler gets my vote.

Here's another option for a stock spoiler: http://www.spoilersmart.com/showdetails.asp?id=SI30&s=

Has anyone ever bought from these guys, I think they sell on eBay as well. I am considering this for my '01 I30t.

I think the surface of the trunk on a G35 is too angular, whereas ours are quite flat. You might be able to get some Hard plastic blocks, shape and drill them to correct the awkward angle.

It is exactly the same as the stock spoiler, and they always sell these on ebay so you can do a search to find a picture.

I've wanted to do a spoiler for so long, but so far nothing has worked. I tried the M3 spoiler for about a month, but it just wouldn't work. I actually still have it sitting in my closet. Atleast the paint job still looks nice!

The verdict is still out on the stock spoiler for me, which tells me that I probably shouldn't go for it. But the ebay replicas seem like a great value. So if you like it then you should definitely go for it.

As for me, i think Ill start looking for something that will look nice from a different car.

Do you guys think this spoiler would fit?
Personally, I like this one better than the i35 stock one.

Now why can't some company come out with this kind of spoiler for the i35?

I think that kind of rear window spoiler would look very nice on our cars...

p.s. Sarona sales something similar, but it is not that good to me and too expensive...
