Ouch. Have you had your insurance company weight in on the car's status? At least you're okay, right?

Ahhhh f*ck. Glad you're still alive. You come out unscathed or with injuries? I'm hoping it's the former.

In any case, if you re-build, looks like a large shipment from Australia is in order. That's the one thing I hate about having these parts.

guys i walked away with only one scratch and some sore muscles. the cops and emr folks said i should have been dead. something went thru the windshield and hit me above my left eye just barely missing my eye. lemme tell you, i am sssssoooooorrrreeeee. insurance company is picking up the car tommorrow so i will know what the future off the car is later this week. would you believe not one off the rims got scratched? the ST-R parts are a different story.

Wow, I'm glad you are okay. I've been there, the feeling sucks, but you'll get her fixed or move on. What went throught the windshield?

Oh my god, dude i know how it feels to walk away from such a vicious accident. Same thing happened to me with my integra. It slid side ways into a tree and another car hit me affter i came to a stop at the tree. The car was barely recognizable, and i walked away with only some backpain and a bruised head from the impact that i took against the passenger seat. Im very sorry to hear about your loss man, that sure as hell is tragic. Your car was and always will be an inspiration. I don't mean to be extremely forward or rude about this and i do realize that you're going through a really tough time, but if you figure out what happens to your car, would there be a possibility i could perhaps salvage a few parts from you? Please? and again, i am so sorry to hear about your loss. Take it easy and definitely see a chiropractor. I didn't but regret it. Be safe.

I'm hurting for you my friend. That really sux....looks like a total loss too. I'd be very surprised if they paid to have that car repaired as opposed to just paying the value of it. As said before, I'm glad you're ok.

OMG WTF? Damn man, I was just about to holla at you too. I was trying to figure out what happened to you, I haven't seen you post in a little bit.

Glad you are ok and you are able to post on the org. Sorry about the car, it can be replaced but, I know how you feel man. That really sucks man, are you going to rebuild your car, or get something else? I know you/along with me have put alot of work in our cars to make them stand-out and I would hate to see my car like that. Let me know if you need anything. Forget the mirrors too, I will resale them on ebay or see if someone local want's them.

Get better soon man! (that's coming from wifey and me.)

**** that sucks man, I know how it feels.. I totalled my first i30 half a year ago rear ending someone else at a full 30mph... My roof was even bent up on one side which opened half my sunroof. Walked away almost unscathed.

tthanks Lee, to you and your wife. i went over to where the car was with my friend Jerry( he did most off the aftermarket installs) to try and remove whatever off my aftermarket stuff i could salvage. the ST-R skirts are a total loss, only 1 fog lamp survived. the mirrors are scuffed but ok. intake is fine except for a dent in one of the pipes. the worst, my G35 rims are scuffed heavily, i thought they weren't at first but it's damn near a total loss. my headlamps are so smashed, front and back. the ballasts' are crushed, bulbs gone.
Jerry had to all the work because i went near the car i just wanted to start crying. my next ride is going to be some beaten up, old *** piece off ****, because i'm not going thru having a nice fixed up car and then it gets f**ked up again.

Wow...that is a huge bummer, King. Your car was definitely one of my favorites. Thank God you're ok and no one was seriously injured. Do you mind saying what exactly you hit, looks like the nailed something on the front left nad then spun around and something hit the back? And any idea what went through the windshield?

Wish you well!

Jeesh as I said in my PM already, its really too bad about what happened. This car was amazingly nice, my favorite I on the board by far.

I know the rims are scuffed but if they are still straight I will buy them off you. Let me know, at least you might be able to make some money back on your investment.

Newbie says sorry to hear about your accident

Kingofsorrow,
I am new to the board and wanted to say that I am sorry to hear about your accident. Something like that happened to me about 1 1/2 months ago. I was driving on a highway (45 mph) and an uninsured , no driver license A$$hole ran a stop sign and totaled my Pontiac Grand Prix. It was completely decked out. I had remote start, alarm, 2 12" JL Audio Subs, 400W Acoustic Amp, Cap, Panasonic CD/MP3/WMA player, 35% tint, K&N Air Intake, etc. The good news for me was that the insurance company totaled my Grand Prix and I now own a 2000 Infiniti I30.

Do you not have holes left from when you removed the front license plate?

I know it's already been said but "glad you're okay" man. It hurts to lose a car but our health is the most important. Take care and get well soon! You can get another I35 if you choose.
