o2 sensor question:
My dad has a 2001 i30 and the engine light lit up, we own one of the checkers to pull codes and we looked it up and it said his cat. converter was bad, the car only has 60 thousand miles so we assumed the sensor just happened to throw the engine light on and we reset it , about a week later (today), the engine light again came on, we pulled the code and again said the cat. converter was bad, we looked in the book that comes with the tool and it says that one of the oxygen sensors may be bad,
we searched the car and found the 3 o2 sensors, we traced the wires back up and noticed all 3 are pluged right next to each other, we were just wondering how to diagnose if one of them may be bad, what steps to take to check which one it is. can anyone give me info?

I only have an A32 FSM so the specs might not be the same. You should really invest the $20 for a chiltons if you plan on doing your own diagnostic work. You could also ask the 5th gen forum too.
