Know your paint code???

Just as a resource for info, let's see if we can pile together the paint codes for our I30s/35s.

4th Gen I30s:

Bordeaux Pearl - CP2

Deep Evergreen - DP0

Black Obsidian - KH3

White Platinum Pearl - QNO

Silver Crystal Metallic - KL0

Beige Pebble Metallic - CG2

Aspen White Pearl - QT1

Cypress Pearl - JV0

Laguna Blue Pearl Metallic - BS3

Autumn Bronze Pearl - ET1

5th gen I30s:

Aspen White Pearl - QT1

Autumn Bronze Pearl - ET1

Black Obsidian - KH3

Bordeaux Pearl - CP2

Royal Ruby Pearl - AX5

Midnight Blue Pearl - BW9

Millenium Jade Metallic - JW0

Monterey Green Pearl - JV0

Sandrock Beige Metallic - EV0

Titanium Metallic - KR4

5.5 Gen I35s

Autumn Bronze Pearl - ET1

Black Obsidian - KH3

Brilliant Silver - KY0

Royal Ruby Pearl - AX5

Diamond Graphite - WV2

Golden Sand - EY0

Ivory Pearl - QX1

Midnight Blue Pearl - BW9

Millennium Jade Metallic - JW0

Please forgive me if I have missed a color. Please feel free to post your paint code with the corresponding name, and I'll add it to the list. I'm eventually hoping if we get a large majority of these filled in, we can add it to the FAQ just for general info. I owned my car for nearly 2 months before I knew the name of the color...

by the way, this is a good idea. every one should post their codes, unless this info is already archived somewhere here

I am not ENTIRELY sure, but it should be directly under your windshield, nearly dead-center on the firewall. But I'm not that good with 4th gens.

FYI, the 3 digit color code can be found on this plate which is attached to the passenger side of the fire wall.

SWEET!!! After many, many, many hours of digging around online, I have found a reputable site for finding paint codes and touch-up paints.

I have input all the ones I know from when I was car shopping for my I30, but I dont wanna "guess" at the rest of them, so please check this site out if I have missed your paint code and let me know which one it matches up to.

http://www.paintscratch.com

Input your Year, Make, and Model in the middle of the screen and match up your codes so we can get this in the FAQ !!!

Bump for any more info. I saw a question regarding this in a recent thread.

I30ds, think it's complete enough to cut and paste it in the FAQ yet. The remainder you can guess at if you want, but these are the verified codes I have found.

I believe thats royal ruby pearl "AX5", but check your paint code under your hood on a plate that looks like this.
