SES galore
SES galore
Well having a great week with the POS Infiniti's I own. My 2000 T on Sunday dropped a SES after $2500 of maintenence at 70k miles, now today my 2003 I35 with 30k miles dropped a SES as well.
I am beginning to think that Infiniti's are POS's and I should have stuck with Acura.

Have you read the codes? Have you tried a reset?
Nissan/Inifiniti SES = bad O2 Sensor, MAF or something else minor that can be costly but does not affect daily driving
Honda/Acura SES = tranny problem or some other major issue that hs your car sitting in a repair shop for weeks
I'll take infiniti....

Check your codes first before judging Infinitis.

If your 2003 is still under warranty you should have no problem with your dealer fixing it at no cost to you. I hope it works out for you and am sorry to hear of your problems.

Well the I30 apparently needs Ignition Coils, Knock Sensor, and O2 Sensors. The I35 needs Ignition Coils and O2 Sensors. I have enjoyed the cars, but to happen within 2 days is a pain in my ***. Also sux since they are both well maintained, oil changes at every 2500 miles, only ever run on 93 octane, air and fuel filter changed every 15k miles, and so on. I just dont wanna deal with it considering for work I have been putting in 70 - 80 hrs a week on this roll out we are doing.
LOL. Sucks you guys had bad experiences with Hondas, I have never had any bad experience at all.

Coils and O2 sensors are normal wear and tear items, and the KS is just one bolt and an electrical connector. Those items are nothing compared to the slipping trannies and leaky motors that Honda puts out.
Beyond the NSX there is not a single Honda car that I would give consideration to.
