im i30 tail but peeps been askin bout fitment...

 

Yeah, that came up earlier. I e-mailed the seller. He was adamant that it would fit the I30 only, and not the I35.

 

who knows, these guys can never figure there products out...lol

I personally would buy a set, but the the bottom row looks too clear and flashy compared to OEM.

And a quick search on eBay, I found two LED tails with dif shapes, one apparently for 30, and one for 35? Maybe there is one for us I35 guys.

 

Show me what you're talking about. Because I see two different designs, but with what looks to be about the same shape.

They do, but you can tell that's it's 1 bulb that lights the whole housing.

 

Is it possible to find out some qualitative(proved) LED bulb, which would be a direct replacement for the stock one - guess 7443 type? On Ebay or Autolumination.com etc?
Does anyone has experience with those kind of LED bulbs?

I tried them out and they looked like crap. They were the kind that had some LEDs aimed to the side as well as on the top so that they would throw light in multiple directions, but it didn't help. They just weren't bright enough - all you could see was a red dot in the middle of the tail light. I ended up putting the regular bulbs back in.

These LED tails look like they would be better. If the I35 style lights actually fit the I30, I would get them, but since the OEM I35 tails don't fit the I30, I doubt these would either. The seller insists they would fit an I30, but I don't think he knows what he is talking about.

 

Guys, I think these WILL fit an I30. The inner tails seem to have the same shape as the I30. I think they just made them with the I35-"look."

 

If that's the case, then I just may get some. It would be the last major exterior mod that I would need in order to finish off my I30 to I35 conversion. I already have the I35 grille and OEM wheels.

Yeah, replacing the stock ones for LED bulbs seems to be useless..., so i'll try to get those LED tail lamps...

Please, can anyone who has the LED tails from Ebay post some pics of them, so we can see the light output...?
