Time for the I30's winter tune up . . . PARTS NEEDED!!!

Howdy folks,

Well, after trying to find out what made my car's front end clunk like crazy . . it was the front struts . .they're squashed. The ride was so uncomfortable it questioned me if this was a luxury car at all. I raised up the car and saw that there was oil dripping from the strut and the boot was cracked. Also, I noticed that my rear discs were warped, the local mechanic suggested they should be replaced since they were so thin and rear discs shouldn't ever be re-surfaced . . ?? If anyone can suggest a good place to get these parts, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Looks like I'll need:
2-Front struts
2-Rear brake discs
1- set of brake pads (EBC?)

Brake rotors - Brembo blanks from the group buy section

Brake pads - OEM, because it is the rear it doesn't matter, and OEM is quiet and pretty much dust free.

Front struts - looking for OEM replacement or better ones? If OEM, go with Tokico Blues, and Illuminas if upgrading.

Sounds like you are staying stock and looking for cheap replacements.
Struts - KYB GR2 or Tokico Blues (Group Buy or ebay, I prefer Tokico over KYB)
Rotors - blanks from NAPA
Pads - OEM

Yeah, I just want my car to stay in tip-top shape. I am willing to pay extra to get a more comfortable ride.

1. Struts .. . KYB or Tokico?
2. Brake Pads- Going with EBC . .
3. Brake Discs . . going with Brembo blanks . . .

Getting my parts @ partstrain.com
They have pretty decent prices.
Thanks again folks . . I'll keep you guys updated.
