ECU Repair

Has anyone here had their ECU rebuilt? Can you recommend a good place?
I am pulling a P0505 code again. I have already replaced 2 of the O2 sensors and just replaced the IACV about a month ago. Not sure what other parts would cause this issue.
Car seems to run fine right now. Just cleared the code so will see if it comes back.
This is for an 01 I30 with 61K miles.

Thanks,
Brian

Buy one from www.car-part.com, and have the dealer reprogram it to your key.

I highly doubt your ECU is what's to blame though.

ahhhhhhhhh dude the 0505 is the all clear mode

Welcome to the org!
if its really the P0505, not 0505 from flashing lights it has to do with ivac. Check all connectors, clean them.

. 5th gen ECU codes (xshort /xlong flashes) are not read like 4th gen codes, so my understanding is that he meant P0505.

True, but if he replaced his iacv and is still having the issue I wouldn't be suprised if he joined the 'failed iacv fried my ecu club' .

I will let you know. So far the code hasn't come back, but imagine it will soon.
Thanks,
Brian
