The stock nissan kit, part number 999u7-vr000 , installed mine in under 5 min and works great, got it from a local stealership for $179 even though you can prob get it cheaper online. My i35 is an 04 so it's prewired for satellite, some later 03s were pre wired too, just go n the trunk on the right side and there should be a harness taped to the sheetmetal behind the carpet on the side. Also is supposed to say it on the inside of the drivers side door but mine didn't

I have an 02

Is there another satellite kit I can buy to make the ipod integration easier? It sucks if I have to buy 2 kits, but I've been looking for an ipod solution since I bought the car

I think your only chance is if you have am external cd changer you could use the n-bus cable with an adapter so you can keep the changer functional, but I could be Wrong, just got my i35 a few weeks ago, hard to find knowledgeable info on this car. Google is your best bet.

Anyone got a pic of the Maxima one in without modding it?

^won't fit w/o modding, it doesn't have the dip for around the clock. the only way it even might have a chance of working would be if you took the clock out completely, but then you'd have a whole where it should be...

Im talking about the one that should fit exactly where the stock radio is, not the full dash one. Also, is the wiring harness the same for both cars? I got this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/2000-2003-NISSAN-MAXIMA-RADIO-INSTALL-DASH-KIT-99-7416_W0QQitemZ360125629958QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_De faultDomain_0?hash=item360125629958&_trksid=p3286. c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1171|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|2 40%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50

Edit: Do the screw holes match up? If not, how do I attach it?

Got my girls installed today! Matches the wood trim spot on! It looks much better in person and the fact that the rest of the center dash is black doesn't even look out of place in the car because of how well it matches. It does look a little weird in the pics though because you can't see the whole thing together

Who's profile and which pic? If you mean my Q45, then yes it is the ann. edition 350Z wheels, if you mean the girls I35, then they are VS-KF's in burning black. But I am assuming you are talking to someone else???

I'm a noooob hailing from T.O Canada ! Traded in my 2003 Maxima SE Titanium for a 2003 I35 about a month ago. Loving it !!

So, i quickly found out that the Maxima dash kit doesn't fit. Ordered a kit from SY that was apparently shipped a week ago, but still waiting for it to arrive.. In the meantime, made my own out of the factory Bose deck. Will post pics tomorrow.

Anyone have a single DIN head unit mounted with SY's kit ? Wondering the best kit to buy that will give me a nice clean install with the pocket attached. All I've seen is double DIN's.. Let me know and/ or post some pics if you can.

Much love !!

I did a looooong time ago. Looked just like any other double din space with a single DIN HU and a standard pocket beneath.

Pics of my custom single DIN kit + Sy's Kit

As promised. I had made my own dash kit but needed to refine it. Got lazy and dropped the cash to buy a kit from Cy.. Don't think I can post pics yet (or maybe I'm just a big dummy) so here's a link to my album showing the befor and after...

Just was wondering if this dash kit could be used for swaping in a Bose Pathfinder MP3 Unit on a 2000 I30? or is there a better solution?

Physically it should fit. As far as connectivity, it depends on the year of the pathfinder, and if it is an amplified headunit. If it is a base stereo, chances are when you would connect it up, you would be sending an already amplified signal to the bose amps. Making volume 5 sound more like 15-20 lol.

Do they make 2 din dash kits for 04-06 maximas? I had to cut mines in order to fit my pioneer D-3 and it looks kind of tacky..

I had sent you an email on ordering instruction.
Any question, please email me to sycefiro@yahoo.com

In 7-14 days, I will have limited quantity of Dark Wood Trim (close match to I30) and limited quantity of Medium Wood Trim (close match to I35) due the fact that A33 are no longer in production.

Thank you

i don't think they have them exactly that color. The only ones he can get are the colors above. These are hard to get and since they're so rare and are practically the only ones out there, i'm thinking screw the color i just want to get a new system in.
