Head Unit Dash Kit Pics
#81
What kind of dash kit would I need for my 01 I30 ? It doesnt have the same single piece for the AC vents and radio as the cefiro does, but instead it splits into two pieces and it seems that radio and AC control unit are in one single unit, but i may be mistaken. Also, I have this unbelievably ghey stick on wood pieces onto my entire front console that cover the normal black plastic so I cant really see which pieces are connected to what and what kind of dash kit would even fit. Thanks for the help everyone.

The Dash Kit has the AC Vent integrated into your dash.

No a problem. It simply replaces two pieces (including the vent).

My DIY Double Din bezel
Wrote about what I did for this on another post (I35 Double Din, I think). Here are two pics of my first cut. All repainted a metallic silver that was a nice accent to the interior. The opening wasn't perfect and the surface had some cracking. So I used balsa wood to make the open a perfect square and then covered the whole thing in black leather. Here's the result. All it all it turned out allright. For the leather, it cost about $8 in materials from Michaels and about 3 hours total between the balsa wood to get the opening perfectly square and putting on the leather. I used spray-on 3M glue. It was sticky and I rushed through it, but I used Goo-Gone to remove all the overspray glue.
Look's pretty nice, I think.
Here's link in case pics don't upload

I believe the member on here, Sycefiro, who had a stock of them sold out after I brought up getting the piece like 2 years ago. You could put a WTB in the I30/I35 Classifieds stickied thread at the top of this sub forum or even the 5th gen Classifieds or try searching around on eBay.
I sent Email to Sycefiro he don't have it
I searched every where and I couldn't find the cefiro dash piece, no one answer my thread at the top and in the 5th gen classifieds
only Metra which I don't like it, and I believe some one here will help.

That means, your outta luck. The only chance you have of getting one is, hoping someone sells you theirs. Or, maybe find someone that can get a hold of one for you from the European market. They are pretty scarce. Good Luck!
