Bad alternator or something else?

This question concerns my friend's 1998 I30t (not my 2001 I30). The battery keeps dying but tests as good when Autozone tested it. The battery seems to run down over the course of a week. However, there are no signs of a dying alternator (no warning lights, etc.). Any ideas of what to look at next?

Maybe there is an electronic draining the battery. Any new equipment been installed lately?

did you try cleaning the terminals? ....most likely an alternator...take it to autozone and they can test it for you. btw getting the alternator out is a hair-pulling project

As far as I know...since it's not my car I'm just going by what my friend has told me.
