LED's playing tricks with me..
Installed LED's into the tails (4) license plate (2), front lights (2), rear sidemarkers (2), dome, and 3rd led brakelight. All goes well after install.. Looks great..
A couple weeks back my HVAC display starts flickering when I apply my brakes.. This flicker makes it up to the nav screen.. WTF.. Today I hear a light/faint click sound everytime the brake is applied from around the shift console and notice my radio dimming when the brake is applied...
After that issue I have been swapping bulbs and adding load resistors to two of the 4 bulbs in the brakelights.. Im still experimenting with wires to tap but has anyone else had this issue? I know I'm a led feak, but ive only been adding these bulbs two at a time... It seems there might be a tipping point before the car freaks out.

Just curious: how hard is it to replace the interior lights (the door & dome) with LEd's? I just replaced the clock LED's last night, and would like to do LED's throughout the cabin.
I'm an LED newb, I know that I will need a resistor, but that's about it

Hmm... I thought actually the opposite. The lack of draw trips the computer into thinking there isnt anything plugged in causing the madness I have been experiencing.. Tonight all the bulbs will be swapped to stock to test.

Yeah, the LEDs in the headlights don't last long. Too much heat. LEDs in the license plate lights don't last long either...that's either heat or voltage spikes. Though my home-built license plate lights with in-line voltage regulator have lasted a long time now.

LEDs generally don't (though some LEDs do generate a great deal of heat), but in the headlights you also have to contend with the large amount of heat already being produced by low beams, high beams, running lights, etc.
