ZOMG!! I finally bought wheels!

Awesome car and awesome job on the DIY wheels! If/When I get an I35 I want it to be just like yours (or maybe yours when you sell ). I have the I35 6-spoke rims on my '89 Max and absolutely love the look. I only wish they were a little wider (8" would be nice) and maybe taller (18"s) so they can fit a Z32 BBK and bigger tires, but over all I like them a lot. I was looking at the 350Z track wheels because I love the size, spoke clearance, light weight, and 6-spoke pattern. Only thing is those divets don't strike my fancy. I wonder if it would be possible to grind a groove in them along the path of the divets on each spoke, much like the stock I35 wheels have that finisher line along each spoke? I think that would look amazing!
Yours look pretty nice on your car, although honestly, I'm not a big fan of dark spokes. Maybe it's not as dark in person.
Did you think of trying a hyperblack finish? And, any plans to refinish the inside of the wheels?
Great Job! regardless...

Oh wow who bumped up this old thread
I am no wheel expert so I don't know if a "groove" can be cut or not. Have not considered hyper black because the paint chosen was to match my headlights, fog lights, and brake rotor hubs. Also no plan to finish the inner barrels because with brake dust it looks the same
Thanks for all the comments!
