It seems odd that we all have this problem yet no fixes reported. Anyone try unhooking the battery overnight? A friend suggested that to me but I don't know if it is a good idea.

Like yours, my ABS and traction control are not functioning. Is there some glitch with the I30s that I never heard about?
  1. I don't have abs light on however I get slip light with loss of rpm and power like I'm in neutral. Rpm and mph needles bounce erratically and car like fishtails. My trac button has been lit OFF since I bought the car. I was told Wheel bearing and hub assembly needed to be changed. I'm going to try that.

I have all of the lights above on my 08 altima 3.5 i have no clue what causes this issue... All breaks, calipers, rotors, sensors have been changed and no difference my mechanic says he sees nothing that would cause this I forgot new wheel hubs and bearings (put a lot into this car)... The lights never go away unless I put the car in reverse then they go away and come right back on once car is in drive and goes an inch... Please help!!

Old, long running thread but let me add to it. This is a 2007 Maxima. I was sat at a stop light the other day and the car just stalled. Turned the key and nothing happened. Waited a second or two then it started right up. Next thing to happen was a slight judder while driving. I'm thinking it was due to bad gas or something, I was close to empty and was due to fill up anyway.

Anyway, was driving last night and I got a strong judder and this time TCS OFF, SLIP and Check Engine lights all came on. Then today I was driving and the RPM went down to 0 as if it had stalled in the middle of driving. I revved a couple of times and RPM came back up.
I had the parts shop pull the code. There was nothing but it had a stored P0335 code. I've ordered a crankshaft shaft sensor since that seems like the cheapest, easiest first solution. If not that then I guess I will have to work backwards.

Dunno. It's been in my garage since it happened. Just can't be bothered to jack the thing up. It's cold outside!

[updated] I swapped out the crankshaft position sensor, cleared the code and had a trip around the block and it all seemed fine. Then again, it seemed to take a while before but the code didn't come back immediately, which is a good sign. It's pretty easy to change out, it's just a 10mm bolt but you're going to struggle with it being a tight spot if you don't have Japanese size hands

When I shut the car off and re-started it 5 minutes later, the lights did not come back on... for a while. I drove for a couple minutes and noticed that they were all illuminated again. They haven't gone away since that first time that I shut off the car.

Anyone have this happen before or know how to resolve this issue?
Its one of the camshaft position sensors. Either its going bad or the wire harness has a break in it. I know this to be 100% fact. Had it happen to me for months till I finally figured it out
