Funny story about my visit to a certain shop.

Check this out, my 2004 Infiniti I35 had a small but annoying ticking sound coming from the front passanger side wheel, so I figure its the brakes and go to my reputable shop to get it taken care of. So I was going to have entire new brake job done upfront, new everything.

Drop of my car, and go home, come back 3 hours later, pay the bill and pick up my car. 10 minutes into the drive, the f...ing ticking is back, I was pissed, went back next day told them, same issues, wtf ? ... they oiled some things and I was on my way thinking its fixed, 30 minutes later its back ... Im f....ing fuming mad.

3rd visit to shop, on the way there I sit on the red light and I go thru the receipt to see what was fixed to make sure the right things were done, well guess what the noob mechanic did a whole new rear break job .... well, my last visit was very very nice, the manager apologized 100 times, and did my front brakes for free, entire new brake job free PLUS he gave me about %35 of the total amout I paid! So I got a whole new 4 wheel brake job for about $550!! Couldnt be happier.

$550 for a brake job is pretty pricey actually, atleast they took care of the problem but I wouldn't say you got away with anything special

Had a ticking noise coming from the front of my 03 I35. Was getting ready to dive into the brakes. By coincidence, I happened to notice the oil was low so I added a quart. The ticking stopped and I haven't heard it since.
