Power Steering Leak

Power Steering Leak
Well, I've been noticing that my power steering fluid is leaking and I've found the culprit. Anyone know if just this hose underneath the foam labeled E can be replaced? Also, if anyone knows the name or part number and maybe a url for a how to on replacement would be great too. Thanks in advance.

Bought what looks like an inferior part from Kragen. It's about $150 cheaper than the dealer and has a "lifetime warranty" Think I'll run into any trouble with this replacement? Thinking about giving it a try myself as a few calls about replacing start at $190 and end with $540+ at the stealership.

Thanks.
I honestly can't remember. I don't think it was anywhere near $500, but I occasionally get a break on parts and/or labor so that might have been at play too. I just remember looking at the parts cost and thinking "WOW." IIRC the labor wasn't that bad.
How much did the dealer charge ya?

Theres a thread about this floating in the Maxima side of town... Search the 5th gen forums... Its a PITA to hook on the bottom bolt, I witnessed my mechanic try it for 25 to 30 mins, raising the car and trying from bottom , then lowering car and trying from top.... Dont remember which way finally did it, but you'll see
( it was an '00 Max)
P.S... try calling the Nissan Dealership and seeing how much they charge for it compared to the Infiniti dealer
EDIT::: SORRY, DIDNT READ THE FULL THREAD, JUST NOTICED THAT ITS BEEN RESOLVED!!

I just did this repair on my car because of a pretty steady PS leak. I ordered mine from South Point Nissan through Dave, their number is: 866-941-2048
I think the part was like $165 and came with the senor, which he claimed had a tendency to break off when you swap from the old hose.
Its not really too hard to install, just take your time and you should be able to get the bottom bolt to thread in.

Gates catalog will give a number, then Amazon.com the Gates # to find the price (if your lucky). WorldPac will also have most of the high pressure hose.
But we do you find a non-dealer OEM hose or performed suction hose? The return hose is OEM. A generic 5/8" hose, but doesn't fit as nicely.
