I have done searching here and Google and cannot find a definitive answer. I am hoping someone may have experience with this. I have a 2001 I30 w/o heated seats which are worn. I would like to swap seats from an I35 with heat but do not know (and can't find) if the seats are interchangeable.

From searching it appears the passenger seat may be a direct swap and I may even have pre-wiring for heat. The driver's seat is questionable, mainly b/c Infiniti initially used an analog signal to control the seat and then switched to a digital signal. Confusion surrounds what year the change took place and/or if the wiring changed substantially.

Anyone know? Thanks in advance.

 

For those interested. Seats from a 2003 I35 were plug n play in my 2001 I30. I had read conflicting posts on here about the memory connections, but the connections were the same. Additionally, my car did not have heated seats and the seats I replaced them with are heated. The wiring for the heated seat switches were under the console but the wiring for the seat connection was not under the seats. Wired the seats directly to the switch wires, works great.

Hi guys, I have a 2000 I30 S touring came with fabric seats and no power seats. I am thinking of replacing the driver seat with a power seat from a normal I30. I saw a 2 wire plug resting under the seat in my car. I assumed that this is just a power connection to the power seat. Is the control box of the power seat inbuilt to the seat or is it sitting somewhere else? please help. Can i straight fit a power seat to my driver side?

 

I wasnt aware the I30 was available with fabric seats. It's been a while since I replaced my seats, but those should be the connections for the power seats. Also, one may the harness for the side airbag.

 

This is good info....but why not just add a heating kit to your stock seats? Its a bit more labor intensive but it is cheaper that way....unless you score a hell of a deal on the heated seats.

 

I have a 02 infiniti i35 and wanted to know what other infiniti seats will work

 

I wonder if the seats from a M35/45 or Q45 would work, but i'm not sure if I want to go through the pain of ripping them out and putting them back in, also then the colors wont match with the rest of the interior
