store bought bose cd changer

is there something that out of the box connects to the bose cd player and uses the buttons on the head unit/

I know the head unit is actually made by clarion, does a clarion cd changer attach to it?

ive got a sony cd changer in my truck i could use its sony explode. I dont know about figuring out a sony to bose adapter bs and then finding out it sounds like crap.

No fm modulation is going to work, it sounds bad i already tried it.

I believe there is!?! I remember a couple years ago looking into this for my bimmer. There is a plug that conncts aftermarket changers to your factory stereo so you can use the controls on the oem stereo. I counldnt find anything for you?? But, try crutchfield.com. You can call them and they will be able to tell you if there is anything available. Why not just get the ipod interface and scratch the whole cd changer thing?? Kinda of old tech. if you ask me........

oh youre right

well im trying to see if I can hook my sony xplod to it without paying anything first

i think most mp3 files dont have quite the sound resolution to do the system justice, unless you downloaded the full flac file

( very large would be apx 300 mb per album)

so Id honestly like to have both hooked to it in a perfect world.

Id like to avoid spending 150 on the crutchfield thing and just buy a clarion cd changer possibly for 150

just dollars and sense

There's plenty of CD changers that work with the i30 selling on ebay it's really the wiring harness that you can't find. USA spec also made a model compatible with the a32 that comes with a wiring harness called scd-n66. I have 2, both work great. When you're buying ebay, make it comes with the harness and the magazine.

Yeah, that's the one. I put it under the seat for both my i30 and my sister's g20. I wouldn't buy that particular one though b/c I can't imagine that you'd be able to find the magazine anywhere... so you end up buying it just for the harness.
