Is it possible to put the power seats from an Infiniti Q45 in my 2002 I35? I'm a big guy and have little room in my I35. today I sat in a 2003 Q45 and the power seats move differently. The entire seat tilts back and not just the base section like in the I35 and Maxima. This gives me more leg room and I would love to have it in my I35.

Can it be done? Has it been done?

 

you could probably rig it up to work, no guarantees though.

 

you can probably do it by hooking up power and ground to the motors. the airbags in the seat may not be the same connections.

 

Big guy myself, (6' 6" 360) Overall I find my 2k I30 pretty comfortable but I concur on the leg room for long trips. I will say its a ton better than my '97 I30.

You could do that, but a much easier way unless you are set on having those seats would be to have a shop mount new holes for your seat for extra leg room.
Just out of curiosity which Q45 seats are you looking at (year?)
