I think the impul and the Diana are the best, the MP would be nice if it wasn't a custom one. But I think ya would have a better chance having them make a lip kit that is something similar to the ID classic kit for the a32 maxima but with more thought put into it. Good luck on this cause I've been thinking about getting an I30 and a kit for it is a main concern for an I30 build...

all the mode parfume, wald, "vip style" (actually fabulous style) kits are custom made with styling cues common to those brands. none are legit branded products.

you need to stop trying to knockoff other companies products, especially when they're still in production (signature evolution for example). pay the price for authentic or live without it. you have companies that actually offer original products for your car that has very little aftermarket support and you'd rather spend the money to buy it and send it to a company that has had the capabilities to offer something original the entire time but done nothing? they obviously don't care so why spend the money with them while hurting the bottom line for a company that has had an offering for years.

there's not much risk of ruining the a32 i30 market since it's past it's time, but you will not be driving that car forever. knockoffs take money out of the pockets of innovative companies. when you buy that next car there may not be support there either because the replicas have put the originals out of business. it's bigger than your driveway.

it's not like you need a body kit. if you can't afford to pay then just don't play.

Well put, I remember a few year back that buddy club was going to stop making body kits due to knock offs but then decided to lower the price of their kits. Haven't followed up on them but knock offs do hurt the originals...

The OP is aimed at trying to reproduce the dc'd Autech kit. The poll is just to gauge which kit people prefer. All contacts were made with the Autech in mind. I agreed with your statement which was why my target was the dc'd kit.

As for contacting ID, I simply asked Jose to modify his new style aero kit for the 4ths Maxes to fit a 1st gen I30. Sideskirts fit automatically. rears and front are the issue.

i wouldn't personally rock a replica kit d/c or not (good thing i don't own an i30 huh?) but i can dig what you're trying to do. if it's d/c you won't be hurting the original designer in any way. just be careful, it's a slippery slope. personally i would remove/disregard the insurance (diana) and evolution (signature) options.

I thinly the classic front lip would look better on the I30 and would make the car look more VIPish (like the diana, impul, and signature) than what the "new" front lip from ID would look. But if ID takes interest in making a lip kit for the I30, that would be co enough...

^ I didnt want to go with the VIP look rather the sporty, aggressive look. ED makes a VIP kit if youre interested in that route.

Ok, well Jose at ID said that itd be a difficult feat since he doesnt have an I30 to work on for dev'ing us a kit. But he claims some customers have said that the 95-96 maxima lip fits. Which part (rear or front) is what Im asking him now.

If the rears fit, then the 95-96 max must have a longer rear than the 97-99 max. Can anyone confirm that?

From the ID website. Didnt bother posting up the rear lip on that page because a 97-99 is pictured.

Hello,

First of all let me introduce my self, I work for Jose at Ionic Dynamics in the R&D department and I'm also an A32/ Cefiro enthusiast. As some of you guys know I'm currently building my maxima from top to bottom ( cefiro front and rear swap) I always wanted the Autech front bumper but never found one for sale, even one of my friends in Malaysa wasn't able to find me an autech bumper, he said that bumper was only available on the WA32 ( wagon) autech version very hard to find So I ended up importing all the OEM front and rear end from Japan.

Now, the 95-96 front lip might fit, we had some costumers in the past who adapted the lip to the oem i30 bumper. I'm very sure the cefiro bumper and the i30 bumper have the same dimentions, so what I would do is I'm going to test fit the lip on my cefiro bumper and will take pictures, just give me a few days since we are currently super busy with all this g37 g35 projects, but I promise I will test fit the lip.

I'm pretty sure he was referring about the front lip and not the rear, the 95-96 have the same as the 97-99 only difference is the design of the rear bumper. If he said that the lip fits I would say try it, if not u can always sell it...

I really like the front but the sides are too bland for my taste and the rears seem tacky to me. Its based off of the Hiro Kit.

Jose confirmed with me thru email that it is indeed the front lip that be made to fit our cars. Oh and also Maxima619 did as well.

This is goood!

I may try this myself and see how it fits

Another question does Ionic Dymanics still produce the front lip for the A33 I30?

Thanks

Yes sir, http://www.ionicdynamics.com/I35KIT.html

I think for the I30 a33 you have to modify the rear lip to fit around the muffler tip since it was designed for the I35 rear bumper.
