Typical for chinese aftermarket crap. Same issue with mine. I learned to live with the gap.

Worst case scenario have a body shop mold some plastic and fill it in.

Ultimate Collision in Edison, NJ. High quality shop - they do exclusive work for Ferrari, Maserati, etc.

The good thing about your current bumper is that the work needed is all plastic, the chrome trim remains intact and doesn't have to be modified.

Yea, I would go see a body shop for sure. It would look super clean after its done. They might even be able to fiberglass it too?? Not sure? Never had to fill in a license plate hole before....lol! Either way, I'm sure it's cheaper than buying a whole new bumper+shipping+painting.

ok this is what i did a few years back with my camaro, don't know if it will work on the I30 as the plastic is a little differant

1: fill in unwanted plate pocket with a medium foam

2: overlay with fiberglass

3: fill and finish as normal

it realy held up for me on the camaro (good 6 years) and no one knew the differance or could put a finger on what i did to it. You will probably have better results with the cross bar then the bumper (less flexing)

today was the first night with them and HIDs, and I really couldnt see anything. I am going to try to see if it is possible to align the lights. I had more visibility with my stock heads and stock bulbs

indeed - sounds familiar....hopefully you can figure something out...other than going back to stock like I did. I even took out the reflector in the cefiro lights and still had no visibility with or without them....I eBay'd them about a month after I got them

Why you want to back to stock? I think your tail lamps is also good looking. The problem is only the rear bumper.

anyway, this is a video that I found on youtube (And I just notice that this video also took in Indonesia, what a shame, I even have to watch many times to notice that this car is in my country ). Hope so you will like it

Empire, what bulbs are you using? I hope not the 9004, I got the same exact lights and the 9004's were so bad I laughed, and almost crashed... The h4s im usin now are much much better, but projectors win any day of the week. Our 97 i30's look awesome with those black cefiros, except my car seriously needs a drop. What springs you gonna run on the agx?

hey i'm using h4's, they are bright and all but i noticed a blindspot at the corners, i guess its bc of the blacked out housing. with fog lights, it's fine but i never got around to installing them yet.

H&R springs, a friend got me the parts I originally thought they were tein s techs, but i was wrong. I might try a projector retro in the future..

stock i30's look like an old man's car lol the cefiros give it a much needed face lift.
