p1320

I just went to firestone to replace 2 coils and all
Spark plugs because my ses, slip, and tcs off light came on.after replacing those parts the lights still are lit. The mechanic told me to bring it to the dealer to figure out what else is wrong because he cant figure out the p1320 code. Any suggestions? I have a 2000 infiniti i30 with 115000 miles

Seems like 2 separate propblems

Im guessing that they used NON OEM ignition coils when they replaced the coils? If so, thats likely the cause of the P1320 code . Also, what spark plugs did they use?

As for Slip and TCS, if I remember correctly that is the cars way of telling you the alternator is going out.....someone correct me if I am wrong

They said they used oem coils and I think he said mkg double platinum or something like that. Also I replaced the alternator 2 months ago. Thanks for your response.

P1320 can be ignition coils. Very common with people who put e-bay coils on their car. The remaining 4 coils may have to be replaced. But P1320 can also be crankshaft sensors or camshaft sensors.

The alternator turns on the brake and battery lights. The TCS and SLIP lights I think mean an ABS brake problem.

Go to an auto parts store and ask then to read the codes. It's free in 49 states, illegal in California.

its the coils on that P1320 code, unless you put Nissan/Infiniti coils that code will stay on the car.... But i also have my SLIP light on, it's on and off here and there, i never knew what that meant tho.
