This morning the a/c was blowing fine through the main vents. After I got out of work and turned the a/c on, it would not blow through the vents. The air would only come out through the defroster vent and floor. I also pressed the defroster button on and rear defroster and noticed those lights had turned red. I do not know how or where to begin on fixing this issue.

You begin by running the self diagnostic on the a/c system.

Click on this link and go to page 37. This is where the diagnostic starts. Read the procedure a few times before you try it. When the diagnostic is running, there is one section that takes a while so don't start wondering if the diagnostic has hung up.

Thanks man that was super helpful, but do you know exactly why the led lights of the defroster and rear defroster would turn red?
