97 I30t Keyless entry
After trying to replace the power antenna on my 97 I30t, the keyless entry and dash clock don't work. It's an aftermarket antenna, which the manufacturer says will work, but it doesn't, so I'm sending that back. In the process, since the new antenna doesn't have the proprietary connector, I cut the wires and wired in the new one, but it wouldn't work. When I wired the connector back in, the keyless entry no longer works and the motor in the antenna, which would run before, but not move the mast, doesn't run at all and my test light says there's no power to the antenna wires, which I assume also power the keyless entry. Is there a fuse somewhere that runs the antenna, keyless entry and clock? If there is, it isn't under the dash or under the hood, I've checked all of those.

Double check fuse # 40, a 7.5 amp fuse in the top right corner of the in-dash fuse panel. This fuse powers both the antenna motor and the keyless control module that is in the trunk by the power antenna.
Also involved for the antenna only is fuse # 21, a 10 amp fuse located in the center column of fuses, 6 down from the top. This is less likely as the radio station memory is also powered by this fuse.

That did it, it was the #40, the 7.5 amp. I found it interesting that it also runs the clock. It's labeled 'ELEC. PARTS', so in case anyone else is wondering, I now know it controls the keyless entry, power antenna, and dash clock.
