please help, i have searched high and low, google, yahoo, forum FAQ, i'm sorry if i am missing something, but i just cant find the answer.
I have a 2001 I30, and need to replace all 4 motor mounts.
Looking at tackling the job myself,
can someone please tell me who/where they have recently purchased a set of mounts for their I30?
i'm looking on ebay, but dont seem to find any that show compatable with my 2001, most vendors only show up to 1999 models.
??
there are some good threads that give instructions, etc, on this forum, but still i cant find an answer as far as purchasing new mounts.
it doesnt look like i need the OEM mounts with sensors, and i dont want to spend $800 on my 01 for this fix.

Infiniti and Maxima engine mounts are the same, but I don't know about that e-bay set.
There are things to know that the listing is not telling you. Because the Maxima could have a manual transmission, the mount that attaches to the transmission is different for auto and manual trans. There is no reference to which transmission.
Also for cars with automatic trans, the motor mounts by the radiator and firewall are different from a manual trans car. They are referred to as an electric motor mount, which becomes softer at idle and stiffens a little more over 1000 rpm. This is to reduce engine vibrations when you are stopped at a traffic light. You can use the mounts for a manual transmission, but you will probably feel more vibrations at a stop light. The electric motor mount has a wire attached to it for visual identification.

i ended up purchasing these 4 mounts (they did have the same OEM that were fluid filled and had sensors)
for my 2001 I30.
my mechanic installed and my car is back to it's original smooth ride, no thumps, no clunks, i am 100% happy.
oh man, what a difference.
