I'm wondering if I install this injen cai and will not use the bracket for best gains will this suck up water? I don't drive through major puddles and i live in a state that gets 100 degrees in summer and 5 degrees in winter. To shorten it up can I run this cai without any problems to my engine? What about a sleeve for the filter

You will actually lose power with this without a tune.

Better off with stock.

If you want the noise (which is pretty much all they do) try a short ram or GAB mod.

If you hit a large puddle, anything is possible with an intake close to the ground.

 

How will I loose power? It's attracting cold and more air? Also already have done gab don't like how unpredictable it is with small particles entering my engine and which short ram?

Injen is one of the biggest wastes of time and money.

I say get a JWT Popcharger and replace the oiled filter it comes with a dry one and call it a day.

 

I think I'll just do GAB mod with ka and n filter or if the pop charger is super good? I'll also get nwp throttle body 75mm and intake spacers. I'll be doing this when I get new spark plugs, oil change and trans fluid change hoping to get under 6 secs 0-60 at 6.35 stock

 

The more water you suck in the better, Water injection increases power man.
