Infiniti I30 remote problem
Hello All,
I have a 2001 Infiniti I30 and I'm trying to figure out why my keyless remote only opens the drive side door, but not the passenger doors. I have reprogrammed the remote successfully. Replaced the remote battery. I press the remote once and the driver side door unlocks just fine -- I press it again to open the passenger side and nothing happens. I do hear some clicking going...almost like some type of relay is engaging.
It locks all doors just fine...not sure what to make of this issue.
All the help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

The remote itself is working fine if it opens any door. It is the job of the SECU under the dash to decode and perform the action.
But since you hear clicking, (an no, it is not a relay, there are no relays for the door locks) it makes me wonder - does the door unlock from the driver's side master power window switch? You may have a problem with the linkage in the door.
Do the rear doors unlock?
