Exhaust pics

Can anyone link me to some pictures of an aftermarket muffler on an I35? I'm curious about the way it looks because the stock exhaust tips bend down. Thinking about getting a catback exhaust in the near future thanks.

That would be a stock exhaust. Considering the only thing "catback" is a pipe and a muffler...??

When I ran a 2.5" Cattman I used it with the OEM 5.5 gen muffler cause it was quieter than the Cattman rear muffler and it gave it more of a Mustang V8 growl upon light acceleration/deceleration...the Oem 5.5th Gen exhaust is good for 247 whp! You got that yet?

Here's an exhaust system for the 5th gen version of Maxima. The only difference are the tips.

Oh ok I see. I think what I'm getting at is the 5.5 gen max has that small opening for the tips in the bumper. The I35 doesn't have that therefore the muffler sits at a small downward angle which I'm not a big fan of. You said the oem exhaust is good for 247 whp. I am nowhere near that right now so I'm guessing an exhaust is gonna be one of the last mods I do on this thing.

Where you wanna start is gonna be on the intake...They've found doing the 5.7th Gen (7th Gen motor in a 5th Gen Chassis) that these cars are breathing kings! SurraTT has a 4" intake making 310+ whp and using a 3" and 3.5" intakes especially with that OEM MAF housing and TB is hampering our breathing capabilities. Right now a 3" SRI tube from "Cant Be Ryhte" , NWP spacers, NWP TB, Hiflo Cat and headers are something I would start with if I were you...

Yea I know this weekend coming up I'm replacing the spark plugs and the 3 rear coils and adding nwp spacers, a ported ssim, and a home made 3in intake. I have a timing advance and megan coilovers right now. Hey is it possible to use a 2.5in b pipe and weld it to a stock muffler or is it just too much of a hassle to do?
