LCA (I30 vs I30t)

I'm looking to replace the LCA for my 1999 Infiniti I30 Limited. I found some good LCAs on RockAuto that are designated as "T Model" or "Touring Suspension". Are those only for an I30t or will they fit my non-Touring model I30?

urethane bushings is the only difference. they will bolt up with no modification.

Thanks Crusher!

Speaking of Bushings, do Polyurethane suspension bushings make the ride harsher/firmer? I've had my car lowered for many years now and am tired of the rough/stiff ride as well as scraping the underside when going over almost any bump. I'm restoring its stock height and also want to restore its stock ride quality, which is supposed to be smooth, soft and comfortable. I've always heard of PU bushings being better, but if it's strictly for performance and affect the ride quality then I'll stick to rubber bushings.

Unless you are using solid bearings instead of actual bushings it will not make that big a difference. Urethane will definitely tighten up the response and help the suspension do its job but not make the ride much harsher than it already is. The spring and strut setup has more to do with the harsh ride than bushings. so just swapping bushings is kind of like using a cup of water to put out an oil fire. It will be so minute you wont even realize.

Yes, that is where I've started. I am in the middle of replacing my lowering springs & struts with Raybestos Professional Grade complete strut assemblies to try and get back to original ride quality. I replaced one side last weekend and will be replacing the other side next weekend. Instead of replacing the ball joints and LCA bushings, I figured I'd replace the complete LCAs. I might also replace the sway bar and end link bushings, which is why I was asking about urethane vs rubber.

What is the end game here? It seems as if you're only interested in restoring the ride. Not enhancing it's performance.

Poly bushings are your best bet because of the longevity of the life span vs. rubber. While there are 0 downsides to poly bushings besides time and effort, I find it all moot because again... It doesn't feel like you're interested in performance at all. Just save yourself the time and buy a decent brand of LCA's (NOT CHITTY CHINESE CRAP, those are only good for fixer upper flip cars) and put em on.

Yeah expanion joints and any small faults that would nearly be invisible/unnoticed in a rubber bushed car will be more noticeable in a poly urethaned bushed car...I just replaced my poly bushed LCA with Moog premium brand for that some reason! It depends on the owner/driver's taste and preference so it's suggestive...
