Was playing with the new hitch I had installed today, and noticed that, when I lift the trunk lid all the way, I hear something sliding around inside. Now, the mechanic who performed my hitch install didn't exactly instill confidence in me, but I would bet that he did not go into the innards of my trunk lid.

Spoiler is still tight, and this is a small, probably not important irritation, but it is still an irritation. Guess I will have to go exploring.

Any thoughts on what might be loose in there?

It could be anything. But to be in the trunk lid, it won't be very big and when you find it, you'll probably say "I can't believe that little thing made that much noise."
