Center Stack upgrade Done

OK, finally got'er done, so going to show it off;
Added a Kenwood DNN991 with a Metra dash kit, couldn't find a wood trim to match the original and besides the clock box on the top was looking ratty so did everything in a black carbon fiber wrap.

That's beautiful.

I know there's gotta be a way to do it (maybe involving a Raspberry Pi) but I'd love to get a larger screen and incorporate the HVAC in there too.

I mean, it's all electronic, right? Maybe even run a full-time OBD2 line as well and tell the transmission to shift differently depending on wet roads or whatever.

I'm totally interested in all this, but have zee-ro skills.

nice! did you do the wrap yourself? if so how hard was it? i was looking at doing something similar to the max but haven't gotten around to it yet

Looks like allot of creases and wrinkles around the vents and climate control. If you heat it and stretch the film over the panel you can get allot of that out....
