anyone know where I can get i35 steering rack mounting bushings? its either I need to buy a whole new steering rack , I just need the bushings . thanks

 

The big mounting bushing is part # 54445-5Y500. At the dealer they are about $37.50. The smaller mounting bushing is part number 54444-5Y500, about $23.50.

Non-Nissan ones are probably less expensive, If you buy it on-line, the price may be less but you will have to pay shipping charges.

If you go to Amazon, click the MY GARAGE button at the top left then search for STEERING RACK BUSHING KIT and you will get bunch of choices for less than the dealer.

Your local auto parts store may have the Dorman brand.

 

thanks! I tried Amazon but no luck, it keeps saying does not fit my I35. parts store here only want to sell the whole steering rack.
