So i had given my 2000 Maxima that i've had for 10 years to my son who didn't have a car going back to college, and for the last month i was car less and i figured i would dive back into the Infiniti game ( back in 2005 i owned a G20 ) and i found a crazy clean 2001 Touring only about an hour away, i went to look at it and the pics don't do it justice...


1 owner, Florida car, no accidents , garage kept, clean carfax, all maintenance records, asking was $3800, but they dropped the price to $3488 so i had to jump on it .


I plan on replacing the parts that need to be replaced ( has code for bank 1 sensor 1 P0135 ) and just keep it running strong.

I will be replacing in the future, electronic motor mounts, reseal oil pan, change out trans. fluid & filter ( it's an A/T ) 1 of the cooling fans don't work, the low pressure AC line is leaking but AC still works at the moment , everything i learned from owning the Maxima i will apply to this vehicle...

Its in really nice shape, I tend to lean towards the look of the 1st gen i30 but dang I like this one in silver! As I restore my car its nice to look at others haha. Also Florida doesn't require front plates, nice

 

Thanks! I've been looking for an I30T for about a month, i paid more than i wanted but all the others i looked at were ratty, had major things wrong with them or were way too far for me to look at.

I may just keep it stock as it is super clean i don't want to mess with the look of it .

 

It does look in very good condition. How many miles on it?

Where can I get some engine mounts at that won't set ya back $1000 for all 4 and cost more that $100 for all 4 which will go bad in a year or so? AutoZone wants like $600 for the front and rear, YIKES!

 

go to Rockauto.com they have electric and non electric mounts available for probably $60/mount, i got it with about 178,000 miles ...

I think i like it better than my Maxima
