my new 2001 Maxima GLE, with pics
i moved from houston to chicago a few months ago to start a new job, and i couldn't daily drive my Z anymore because of the winter (RWD, 400hp, and snow don't mix well)...so i bought a 2001 Maxima GLE a few weeks ago...this is the 4th Maxima to go through our family, so i know plenty about them and their reliability...this car is in spectacular shape...i wanted an automatic since i bought this car to be a daily driver...the car has only 52k miles and is super clean inside and out...there are no problems mechanically...the car was well taken care of...there are no plans for this car since my true toy is my 300ZX Twin Turbo and all of my modding and attention goes to her...here are some pics

while i do like the jspec front end, my front end is different because of the gloss black middle stripe and foglight ducts...i obviously wanted it to look this way...everyone knows my car by it...if i got the jspec front end, i would have to lose that...i like the stock front fascia anyways

his work and photography skills are infamous over there...i paid a VERY good price for the photoshoot (he cut me a deal), his package costs have since gone up quite a bit...i'm about to submit these for a national Z calendar
am i allowed to make a post a separate post on just my 300ZX in this forum? if i am allowed to, i'll post a lot more pics, including some more from this shoot...

yes, aren't the pictures amazing? i wish i could say i took them, but i didn't...i hired someone to do this photoshoot for me in houston before i moved...his name is Costas, his website is www.digitalremix.net if you want to see his other work...i found him on www.houston-imports.com

Amazing Z. I've always wanted one.
And you'll definitely do some modding to the max, whether you think you will or not. lol.
When I first got my bimmer, I told myself I would only buy what the car needed to stay on the road...Almost a whole new interior, new headunit and speakers, miscellaneous trim bits, and plans for coilovers and wheels later.....well, you see where I'm going with this

i would 'like' to do stuff to the maxima, but i have a project going on with the Z right now...and there are plenty of things i would like to do to my Z still...the only $ going into the maxima will be for regular maintenance...all my fun modding $ is and will still go to my Z
thanks for all the compliments fellas

BTW, what wheels are on your Z?
EDIT: nm, they're SSR integrals. I wish I could find some for my BMW..
