CAR IS SOLD.

This is NOT a nice car cosmetically, it has not been grannied, and it has a few minor annoyances.
It IS a nice car mechanically, has no problems that would leave you stranded, runs and pulls perfectly, and returns the right gas mileage (high teens city, high 20s highway) when driven to that end. It also handles well enough that my brother's coilover-equipped Integra won't lose it on any but the twistiest roads, if that matters to you at all.
I'm selling it because I have the chance of a lifetime to buy a great car but can't afford to keep this one as a beater.
KBB.com's "Condition Quiz" gives me a Private Sale Value of almost $2,700. I want $2,400 (firm). I will NOT sell ANY PART of this car separately. If you are looking for parts, I have a miscellaneous parts sale as well.
Mileage, History, and Basics:
- 1995 Maxima SE
- Deep Evergreen, tan leather interior, power driver's seat
- 154k miles
- Bought 2.5 years ago with ~82.5k miles
- 5-speed swap at ~89.5k miles
- ~30k miles on the DE-K (bought with 41k miles) and rebuilt 5-speed (formerly a high-mileage but very well treated unit)
- Clean title
- Non smoker
Mods:
- 5-speed swap: dgessaman rebuilt open-diff tranny, 5th gen clutch kit, stainless steel cluch line
- DE-K swap: 5th gen TB/4th gen IACV, MSD 8969 RPM switch
- Unorthodox Racing lightweight stock diameter crank pulley
- Cattman Y-pipe, Magnaflow 2.5" high-flow cat
- Ksport coilovers: 9 kg/mm front springs, 6 kg/mm rear springs, currently set to about a 2.3" front/2" rear drop
- Alutec FSTB
- Carbon fiber hood
- ES polyurethane engine mount, control arm, subframe, sway bar, and sway bar endlink bushings; homemade polyurethane transmission mount and shifter mount bushing
- 16" x 7" Enkei RS-5 wheels with 225/55/16 Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position tires and Gorilla wheel nuts
- Sony MP3 CD player w/ 7-band EQ and BBE, Rockford Fosgate 6.5" component front speakers, Pioneer 6x9" 4-way rear fills, Clarion 50w x4 RMS amp
- Optima Red Top battery (800 CCA)
- Lots of homemade grounding
- Hawk HPS brake pads all around with plenty of life
- Goodridge stainless steel brake lines
- Speed bleeders on all brake calipers
Regular Maintenance Done:
- Engine oil changed every 7600-8000 miles with Amsoil Series 2000 0w-30 (TSO) or Redline 5w-30 and an Amsoil EaO filter
- Transmission oil changed every 8k-10k miles with Amsoil 75w-90 GL-4 (MTG) or Redline MT-90
- Fuel filter changed every 2 oil changes (Wix)
- Brake and clutch fluids changed every ~10k miles with fully synthetic DOT3 or DOT4
- Radiator flushed and filled twice (quick flush kit installed)
- Brakes changed as needed (always Brembo rotors and Hawk HPS)
Other Maintenance Items:
- All coilover dampers (new)
- Axles (Raxles)
- Alternator (new Bosch)
- Starter (new Bosch 11-tooth)
- Inner and outer tie rods (new TRW)
- Both front wheel bearings, hubs, and seals (new Nissan)
- Both front O2 sensors (one new Bosch, one new Denso)
- Accessory belt (new generic)
- Clutch master and slave cylinders (new Nissan)
- Rear right caliper (used B15 Sentra SE-R)
- BCM (used)
- Spark plugs (NGK Iridium)
- Air filter (Amsoil EaAU cone filter)
- Seafoamed once
- Some fasteners replaced (caliper pin bolts, upper strut mount nuts, etc.)
Outstanding Issues:
- Still on the '95 Fed-spec auto ECU, so there are a few CEL codes
- ABS and air bag lights are on (wheel speed sensor issues)
- Minor cosmetic blemishes -- the most serious is a dented front left fender
- A few interior rattles
- Power steering has a leak
- Transmission has a tiny bit of gear rattle, but nothing to be concerned about (hasn't gotten worse in thousands of miles)
- Something in the wiring harness near the engine coolant temp sensor is slightly loose, causing the engine temp needle to flutter on occasion.
How It Was Treated:
- Nothing but 91+ octane gas and top-quality synthetic oils (see above)
- Always treated VERY delicately on cold starts until warm (5-10 minutes)
- Driven pretty smoothly but quickly once warm -- I am not a ricer with a death wish but I have no reservations about using the throttle.
- Been to one autocross event, since which the brakes, tires, engine, tranny, clutch, tie rods, and wheel bearings have all been replaced. Other than that there have been NO races of any kind, no burnouts, no e-brake turns, etc. Not even dyno runs.
- Mostly highway miles, lots of trips between NYC and Philly, extremely few short trips.
Serious interest only, please. The car is in the Philadelphia area. I will take cash, money order, or personal check. If it's a money order or personal check, I will sign the car over once the payment clears.

As I said, pics forthcoming. I have to give the car at least a token cleaning and take some current pics.
As for what I'm buying, I can't tell you because I don't want to hex it.
But trust me, it'll be worth it.

...Although at this point I'm starting to think it's being blown a little out of proportion. It's not a Ferrari or anything. What's special about it is the deal I'm getting.
It is purple, though, so at least it'll be good for some laughs.
