FS -- 2002 Maxima SE -- $9500 OBO
FS -- 2002 Maxima SE -- $9500 OBO
Nice reliable fifth gen SE for sale. Just under 88K miles, auto transmission. Here's more info:
VIN: JN1DA31A02T324612. I have the original window sticker -- car was over $30K new, Meridian package, includes heated seats, steering wheel, leather, tint from the factory, autodim rear view mirror.
Use regular oil, changed every 3K.
No accidents, no excessive wear.
Transmission gasket was loose a few months back, fixed.
New muffler put on a month ago.
I bought the car at 59K miles, and had the transmission system fully flushed, fluid replaced. Also did front brake pads, and bought the 235 Toyos.
I had considered new spring and struts, which would lower the car and totally sport out the handling. But I decided to buy another car instead.
Records for all the above maintenance. Two small negatives:
1. Dent in front bumper where flying rim hit car on highway. I don't think hard to repair, but I bought a full front bra instead to cover. Will give bra to buyer. Can send pics.
2. Premium Bose system sounds great, but CDs skip badly. According to research I've done on this forum this is common problem and some have had dealers get them a new head unit under warranty. Radio and tapes play perfectly. Of course could also be fixed with a new after market head unit if you want.
It's a really good car, and I hope someone rescues it from CarMax, which is where I'll trade it in if I can't sell quickly.
