Guys, I'm looking for a good deal on an automatic Maxima. Will consider all auto maximas with leather under $5k or for trade for my BMW, which I'll post about below.

Specifically, I would like a black on black leather auto '97-'98 maxima for around $4k or less. Regardless, post what you have.

If you're interested in a trade, here's my BMW:

1997 BMW 528i
2.8L I6 w/158k
Clean Title
Black Exterior
Black Leather Interior
5-speed Manual Transmission
6-CD Changer (plus FM/AM/Cassette)
Power Tilt/Telescope Heated Steering Wheel
Heated power front seats
Dual Zone Digital Climate Control
Remote Entry/Alarm
Onboard Computer
All the obvious stuff (Cruise, pwr everything,ABS,ASC,etc.)

Kelly Blue Book:
Excellent: $7,650
Good: $6,985
Fair: $6,100

NADA:
High Retail: $9,150
Clean Retail: $7,925
Low Retail: $6,350

The car is going to need brake pads soon, and needs new tires, which I will put on for a sale price of $6300. As-Is, asking only $5995. Will be throwing in another oil change and detail right before sale!

I've purchased and sold 6 BMW's now on bimmerforums, all good experiences both ways. If you're the paranoid type, and would like references, I'd be happy to offer them.

Thanks for looking guys. Email me with any questions: ehackart@gmail.com

Wow that is a clean 12 year old car man! If you were looking for a 5spd and I hadn't begun to put $$ into my car, I would definitely look for a trade!

Email me: ehackart@gmail.com - I need to know details, and pictures would be nice. Obviously, as stated in this thread, if it's not an auto, it's out of the question. Otherwise, send details!

Got I30 '96 177K mi in NJ, dark green/beige. Needs transmission work (probably $1000 to put in a low-mi tranny) and minor cosmetic issue ($300 max). $2000 OBO

'95 champaigne ext /tan leather in SE. 131,000 miles right now. Tokiko Illuminas shocks+Springs (1.5inch drop)(5k on them), Brembo rotors (xdrilled front, blanks back 5k miles), Hawk pads all around, new front callipers, new rear bearings, '97 SE 17inch rims, CD/MP3/MP3 player AUX input stereo+ sony amp+ infinity and kenwood speakers.
Small scratched up front bumper and some chips on rear bumper (nyc street parking).
I'll email pics if needed.

I know everyone says *all highway miles* but mine mostly are. Bought the car with 100k 2 years ago in NYC. I go to school in Penn State (300 miles each way). Also drove this car up to connecticut (many times for work), buffalo, lake placid, virginia, west virginia, florida, montreal and toronto, and michigan. Between these trips and visits home, most of the miles i personally put on the car were highway.
Asking 3800 - nogotiable

I love this car but im trying to buy a 5th gen max, manual 528i (ironically), or audi a6.
