lmk what you got for a project car. needs to be in decent condition running is a plus

 

I have a 95 Gold Autotragic

Rust damage on both front quarter panels and around the right rear wheel well/body

ABS light is always on, haven't tried messing with that but the brakes work fine

Recently I have replaced the Alternator, IACV, KS, rear 02, and Coolant temp sensor so there are no CEL codes.

Runs pretty good but this car came from Rochester so besides the body rust there is a lot of rust underneath.

To get it up to good condition I would say first the exhaust system is going to have to be replaced. After that the front quarter panels and then to a body shop to fix the right rear wheel well. Besides all that I would say you could then start focusing on making improvements over stock equipment if you wanted to.

Only other thing of note is that on my Bose deck the face panel does not illuminate, not sure if that is something that can be fixed or if it just has to be replaced (I only use tape deck + ipod so it has never bothered me)

I am located in Las Vegas. Selling the car is conditional upon having a car to replace it. I have been looking into finding another 4th gen and only have one candidate right now.

I assume since it's a project car you wouldn't need it right away so if you are interested just stay in contact with me and I will let you know if I find another 4th gen.

Tan Leather Interior (Swapped from an I30, so you get headrests in the back seats)

Non-Bose (Alpine setup partially installed, amp and rear speakers not installed)

4300K HIDs from 3bspec (the ONLY reason i'm saying they are bootleg is because its not part of a retrofitted project, the HIDs are wonderful, had them for about a year now and I've ALMOST passed NJ Inspection with them (they failed me because I had no high beams), its just got massive glare that people think i'm high beaming them all the time, personally i dont give a crap cause i can see far as heck LOL)

No check engine light...(used to come on once in a while when putting in EXXON Premium Gasoline, Now I use Sunoco Premium and havent had any problems)

Brand New Front Windshield installed a week ago (havent driven the car since, because I currently reside in 22314 (Virginia) and the car's going to the shop (in NJ) as soon as the 5th Gen Clutch parts come in)

Spectrum Sluged on Passenger Side and Trunk (Have about 3/4 of a 5 Gallon Sludge drum left, that will come with it if sold)

New Starter put in a little more than a year ago...

Currently Located in 07083 (NJ)...getting a 5th Gen Clutch Setup put in, and ES Motor Mounts...

...2nd Gear Snychro is out of line (so it grinds while trying to put into gear unless you rev match it perfectly)

...think there's a hole in the exhuast somewhere and one of the hangers is broken so it rattles (you can hear a DING) when you go over a speed bump or turn too quickly...(if its a simple weld then I'll have the mechanic do it while working on the 5th Gen Setup)

...still havent installed the LED lights in the Dome, Map, and Doors...(that would also be included if sold)

Nothing else I can think of at the moment, I will get pics as soon as I go back to Jersey (maybe a week) if your still looking at that point in time...

im holding on the 2nd maxima. I am saving for a DD and going to look into just going with mine. I just had to dump a lot of money into it im still a youngin and learning that high price parts dont fix simple things. My car was running like **** so i was buying this that and everything......finaly took an adult breath and me and some friends diagnosed it as a blown knock sensor, 6 blown plugs, 3 vac leaks, multiple exhaust leaks, tq mounts so blown i could have held the motor my self better, and i think thats it but are some pretty big things. Gettign everything fixed in the next two weeks going to track her again see how she does. Come the summer once i get back from living in Washington Im going to evaluate my A32 .
