WTB: 2002 Maxima SE, 6-speed
Hello All,
I feel sort of strange introducing myself as a Newbie on here, but I guess that's what I offically am. In fact, I'm actually one of the original pioneers of maxima.org from WAY back in the day. Having purchased my first Maxima, finding the board and first registering on the site (many, many, many forums ago) back in 1999 - probably before lots of you even had a driver's license. I'm also known as Booker and/or theBooker. A handful of you know or recognize me, I'm sure.
Anyway. I'm looking for another Maxima. Here's the wish list:
*2002 SE
*6-speed transmission
*any color, though black would be my last choice
*leather
*single or 2nd owner (with maint. records, of course)
*loaded w/as many options as possilble
I'd prefer a car from a warm weather state, but if its owner is, like me, an ****-retentive car nut who puts a diaper on his car every night - I'll consider any location. I'd like it as cosmetically flawless as possible; but who wouldn't.
Miles aren't a huge concern so long as its not way out of line for a 2002. Location is also no big deal. For the right car I can and will fly out and drive it back.
I am leaving on vacation w/my family tomorrow and expect to have limited email access next week. To contact me try wilburn dot derrick at yahoo dot com. My cell is seven one nine two three seven zero zero seven zero, feel free to voice mail or text and I'll reply as swiftly as possible.
thx!

Have you tried autotrader, cars, or any other local advertisements? Don't mean to steal business from others on here, but I have seen some really good prices on cars from those sites. I'm pretty sure you have though. Good luck finding your car.

Yes, you should definitely check that car out! It doesn't have leather though.... ...

You would be silly not to buy Allblackmax96's 5.5 gen, very very clean car (despite new england), and the motor is pretty much brand new, as in less than 3k miles on it when I installed it in the spring.

Front pre-cat took out rings, a common problem that this one won't ever have now.

Thanks to everyone (sellers) that posted in this thread. I am planning on buying Mike's (MU_036spd) car tomorrow. We've been in talks for weeks and been working on details of the transaction. If all goes according to plan, it'll be in my garage in about 10 days. So, unless a piano falls out of the sky onto it, I'm no longer looking for a Max and will be closing out this thread.
