[Gauging Interest] FS: 2002 Maxima, Grey, 6 spd, $2,500
FS: 2002 Maxima SE, Grey, 6 spd, $2,500, Boston, MA
Hi Guys, I am looking for another car, so my Maxima needs a good home. I brought it at 103k, it has 151K now. The car needs a little TLC, so I'm letting go for pretty cheap. I hope to get around $2,500 for it, but willing to negotiate. The car is currently in the Boston area.
The car still is very strong and I get about 350-400miles between fill ups, I have two sets of wheels/tires for it, OEM 17s V-rated and ASA 17s With snows.
There are some problems:
- I have a constant P0021 code on, I changed the IVT solenoid, and the Camshaft sensor, but I can't get rid of the light. Doesn't affect the car however, I drove it with the light on for 2 years and the car is still running strong.
- Burns about 1qt of oil every 3k miles
- The front windshield has a crack running across the buttom, my insurance doesn't cover it, so it'll cost around $250 to replace.
- Dent on the rear driver side panel (see picture), saw this after coming out of the mall, again, my insurance doesn't cover it. But I can get a quote for the fix.
- Rear bumper clear coat has been peeling for the past 2 years, about $100/150 to repaint.
- Right side fog doesn't work, Left side fog is cracked, I have the replacement, just no time to put it in.
- The hood is pretty rock chipped being a NE car
I think the price is fair given the condition of the car, its cheap enough for a project or even a parts car. Again, I'm open to offers, but would really like to deal in person. Looking for around $2,500
Sorry for the dirty picture, haven't had time to wash it.
