For sale is my 1997 Nissan Maxima. It has the VQ30DE engine that makes 190hp and 205 lb/ft of torque and it is mated to a smooth shifting 5-speed manual transmission. The car is black with black and gray cloth interior. Everything works as it should, and there are no weird problems or noises. It is a GXE model, but comes with some bells and whistles including power windows, power locks, cruise control and a Kenwood c/d player. The car has ice cold air conditioning, and is a pleasure to drive. The car does have 177k miles, but do some research and you will find that these cars run forever as long as they are properly maintained (which this one has been). Recently I have repaired the A/C, replaced the Knock Sensor, replaced the Right Rear Oxygen Sensor, and replaced the Radiator Hoses. There are good tires all the way around and it drives GREAT! This is a reliable, fun, fast, and family oriented car (hard to find for under $4k)!

Depending on offer, I may include a full set of Z32 Twin Turbo wheels/tires.

I listed it for $3,500 OBO on other sites, but the .ORG price is $3,000.

Bads-

Could use a paint job if you want it to look great.
Needs a new "Nissan" emblem on the front grill (may be purchased before sale).
Power steering has a very slight leak (most would say so slight that it shouldn't be mentioned)... MAYBE a 1/4 quart every oil change.

shouldnt you be pushing more than 190hp with the VQ35? my 96 5spd SE is whipping 192hp with a stock 3.0 v6

Slitfang- I'm sure I would be making more than 190hp with the 3.5 liter, but I only have the stock 3.0 in there.
