I see you have an 04 which is known to have its issues, I wouldnt just say all maximas are money pits, maybe you had an unfortunate incident or the misfortune of getting a bad one. The 6.5's while having their minor issues, its not as badd as the 6th, especially the 04 auto's (which from your sig, it looks like you have) Now i own an 08 and dont have too many serious issues come up (except seatbelt sensor fail - covered under warranty) knock on wood noting too serious comes up in the near future.

All cars will have their issues no matter of make, eventually they all have their concerns/issues. This is not to say Nissan didnt drop the ball on the 6th gens especially 04-06 (mainly 04) I do believe they have fudged up on this one.

If that's a starting price, that's not bad...especially if I can talk them down a bit...

This forum became nothing but a pile of trash- moderator does not even bother to move this thread. Site is not maintained, ads are all over the place, and there are very few posts that are actually worth reading.

I wouldn't go that far. This is a rare find of a car, and old boy just wanted to get some people aware of it...that's a low mileage car man...if it was garage kept too...
