GA 2002 maxima 6 speed black/black
2002 maxima 6 speed black/black
-----This is an actual for sale thread, my last thread was a feeler with high hopes of having everything follow through, but it never works like that. I have a temporary car to drive so this will be sold.-----
Hey guys, im putting up a feeler for my car as it will be for sale. just not yet, for i have a few repairs i intend to complete before i do unless someone wants the car without the repairs done. ANYWAY
fully loaded minus navi and hlsd. so it comes with leather, climate control, heated seats, blose.
mods: hotshot headers, short thro shifter mod, alpine headunit, k and n drop in filter. aftermarket e brake handle.
background: i have had the car for about 2 - 3 years. i am, i believe, the 10th owner of the car. i do not know why there has been so many previous owners, but moving on. i bought the car with about 57k on the odo and it now has 129k.
condition: the car is in okay condition. dent on the passenger side front door from my mom backing into it. lots of blemishes here and there but the paint that isn't blemmed is nice and shiny. pics will come tonight or tomorrow. the interior is in decent shape. a few blems on the leather driver side, but not an eye sore.
the biggest problem on teh car is the oil burning. burns about 15 quarts between oil changes. this wasnt prominent before, but somewhere down the line it just started burning a lot, not sure why. i granny the car too. also a small leak on rear valve cover. clutch is good, brakes are worn out, planning on replacing all 4 rotors and pads before sale. alignment is out of spec, gonna replace some parts and get it aligned. tires in good shape. car currently has a CEL for evap which i am gonna take care of prior to.
im selling the car because i am saving up for another car, so this one has to go.
pics to come soon, i just got to upload them to a host site. lmk if i am leaving some information out.

in addition to the previous for sale post that I had listed, the front caster on both wheels are both pushed back. I replaced both control arms and the condition still exists. I suspect it may be the spindle, but not sure. Also, the driver side front tire seems to have positive camber wear on the tire. When I bought the car, it was lowered on progress springs, but as I swapped it back to stock suspension, the problem seemed to have shown itself.
Lastly, the front middle spark plug (4th cylinder?) has sludge, and it is reoccuring. I believe this remedy is new valve covers for the front.
I am trying to get rid of the car so I can start on something new. Listing at Reduced to $1,800. Honest seller, just trying to get some money for a down payment on soemthign else. Also, everything on my for sale thread will be included listed here http://forums.maxima.org/5th-generat...gen-parts.html. The wheels in the photobucket album are included as well as the mitsubishi evo 8 wheels shown on the front of the vehicle. All 4 Evo wheels will be included, however they have curb rash and would be good for track or spares etc.-----

FYI the link to your photobucket doesn't work, it just sends you to the photobucket main page. This car sounds like it would be great for someone who has the means to swap in a low-mileage VQ35. Good luck selling.
Like I said, for someone who knows what they're doing, a low-mileage VQ35 can be picked up for a couple hundred bucks and be swapped in to make this a great car. Why fill his thread with your BS, do you have nothing better to do with your time?
One point to note is that the alignment is functionally fixable by lowering the vehicle, meaning the camber will adjust itself. Like I said, it wasn't a problem on progress springs, but on stock, it became evident. The caster is even, so no pulling what so ever.
yo andy.. i called you about the car like a month ago... got your number from john lee.... im interested in the car. i am car-less atthis point and im willing to take it off your hands.... so can you please hit me up with a price... 678 879 34 95.. text me..
i'd like to see my brother with this one.. and hit him up
I wish it was a typo. I believe the car was running too rich for too long which obliterated the rings. At this point I do not want to put any more money into the car. So it is going as is. Btw, love the car MoncefA33. I originally wanted a grey lustre max.

It was probably a typo or hyperbole.
