This IS a sports sedan. It has an upgraded sport suspension to handle better. It has upgraded brakes to stop quicker. It has an upgraded 850watt radio to sound better. And it has NISSAN OEM upgraded HIDS and WHEELS to look better. I rigorously maintain my car and most of the front suspension has been replaced as parts wear out. This car has a lot of upgrades and is well taken care of. I would put this car up against any other car on craigslist with half the miles at the same price.
Car Info: 2001 Maxima GLE, Sterling Mist Exterior / Frost Leather Interior
Odo: 160k
Ownership: My dad purchased this car new, then gave it to me in 2004 with 35.5k miles
Includes: 3 keys, 2 remotes, original sticker, manuals for car and aftermarket parts. Original Bose stereo parts are included.
Car/Mechanical:
* Tokico Illuminas / Eibach Springs w/camber bolts

* Goodridge SS Brake Lines
* Nissan 2002/2003 HIDS wired via harness (no wires cut)
* Venture shield clear bra on headlights only (this should prevent them from yellowing with age)
Audio (850w of POWER!!! ... with a usable trunk)
* Eclipse CD5030 Radio w/ Bluetooth phone connectivity
* Eclipse HDR109 HD Receiver
* Eclipse PA5422 5 channel amp
* Ecplise PA5532 4 channel amp
* Polk Audio SR6500 (front)
* Polk Audio DB6510 (rear)
* Image Dynamics IDQ 10" sub
* PAC SWI-ECL Steering wheel interface
* 16ga wiring directly to each speaker (6 speakers)
* Axillary input 1/8" audio jack
* Radio supports USB Ipod connection
* Microsoft Zune charger/audio input integration (gets overridden if a plug is in the axillary jack)
* Dynamat in driver's side and passenger side front doors
Maintenance:
* New outer tie rods, ball joins, ES LCA bushings, ES Subframe bushings (replaced at ~140k miles)
* Sparkplugs and fuel filter replaced every 60k (done at ~60k and ~120k)
* Radiator, water control valve, thermostat, upper/lower hoses replaced ~25k ago
* Trans flushed every ~25k (last flushed at 154k)
* Oil replaced every 3-5k miles
* Energy ES sway bar bushings & moog end links (front)
* Optima Red Top Battery
* Both drive belts replaced at 154k
* Front & Rear motor mounts replaced at 160k
* New Air Filter at 160k.
* New Rear Brakes (Pads and Disc) at 160k.
Disclosures:
* Front Driver's seat has two tears in leather.
* Front Driver's seat lift and lower movements do not work. Adjustments for moving seat front-back and the back rest do work.
* Car was in an front accident in 2009 damaging front bumper and passenger fender. Repair work was done by Skill Craft Body Shop in Huntington Beach, CA. $4500 in damage. OEM parts used for repair. Front bumper is in very good condition.
* Two mechanics have pointed out a small rear main seal leak to me (known as of March 2011). I have parked on a drive way for the past 8 months and there are only 3 drops of oil. This is not an issue, but I am disclosing it to you.
* Stereo utilizes an Active Crossover setup set through the head unit. If radio or battery is ever disconnected, crossover must be set prior to using radio otherwise tweeters can be damaged.
* Spare tire has been used for 250 miles. Despite the tire looking perfectly fine, it is suggested to replace spare tires after 50 miles of use. Given the larger brakes on the front of the car, spare tire *might* not fit on the front. In this case, remove a wheel from the rear, put the spare on the rear and the rear wheel on the front.
* Front console lid is broken.
* Since this car is lowered, care must be taken when going over bumps. If there are passengers in the rear seat, suspension can bottom if not careful when going over bumps.
