2002 Maxima SE Galcier Pearl Manual 123K - 100% STOCK California Car

$6500 or best offer. ADDITIONAL PICS COMING THIS WEEKEND.

2002 Maxima SE. California car, we are the second owners and have had it for 9 years. We bought it from Mossy Nissan in Escondido and purchased an additional warranty/service contract when we bought it, which has since expired, obviously. Always garaged. Comes with the following options:

6-speed manual
123,500 miles
Glacier Pearl White with Grey cloth interior
Cruise control
Fog lights
multi-disc in-dash CD changer
Moonroof
Rear spoiler
LoJack
100% stock - NO MODS.
Tires have about 50% tread left - G-Force Sport 225-50-17
Registration paid through March 2015
Oil changed regularly - NO LEAKS ON THIS CAR.
ALL SERVICE RECORDS for the past 9 years.
No accidents - CLEAN TITLE IN HAND

Interior is 9/10. No rips, tears, or scratches. There is a small hole worn into the carpet from the driver's right shoe. Seats and carpets will look new with a good shampoo / detail.

THE STORY: We really don't want to sell this car. And we don't have to. My wife loves that car but has her eye on a BMW right now. I am well aware of the KBB and Edmunds value of the vehicle, and know we are asking a high price. Bottom line is that we have a very clean example here, that has been BABIED by my wife for the last 9 years. No joke, this car drives like it's brand new. Other than a few cosmetic details on the outside of the car (small scrapes/scuffs typical for a 12-year old vehicle) the car is amazing.

It is listed on craigslist and we had 6 inquiries in the first 48 hours. We already have a standing cash offer of $6000 that was made last night, so no offers below $6000 will be considered.

Thank you =)

Take the 6k and run but I'm thinking that's a lie. That's over $1k over blue book excellent.

B/c every singe vehicle made in this world was build to be driven hard... I'd say finding a clean and well sorted example of a Maxima nowadays is getting harder and harder. All the responses here are as expected... all wanna play but no one wants to pay... I believe the car is worth every penny of his asking price if someone is in the market for a nice, clean and unmolested car. Lets face the reality here, you can find one of there cars for less that half of what he is asking then spend a year trying to sort out all issues, spend a bucket load of $$$ on it and at the end you would still have a car that's not even close to what he has for sale which is a nice pristine condition Maxima with a known history. If I was in the market for a clean car I would definitely pay the premium and not have to spend numerous hours working on it, but instead I would spend numerous hours driving it...
Bottom line, I believe this is very nice clean car and the seller is being honest about its condition with fairly low miles...

To each his own. I'm guessing you bought a car that needed a ton of work in the past. There are deals are out there. When I want a car with no issues and babied, I still don't pay over KBB excellent condition-- because that's what it's worth max in my opinion. But in all realty, as long as there are people out there like you that didn't do his research--didnt bring a mechanic to thoroughly inspect a car-and got taken-people like this can charge whatever amount they want. A car is worth whatever someone will pay.

To each his own... I am very aware of what a car is worth. No, I don't bring a mechanic with me to hold my hand and tell me whats wrong with a car... I can very well do that on my own as I don't need the opinion of some high school drop out who somehow graduated mechanics school. You missed the entire point of my post and I very sorry you did not understand my point clearly. There are people out there who have nostalgia for certain things and are willing to pay more that the average market value. Just b/c some desk idiot set some "value in a book" and has no understanding on what the car would actually be worth compared to the prices set on the market. Blue book or black book, if you have even heard about it, means nothing its just a number... and yes I have purchased cars which needed a lot of work, fixed them and enjoyed them... My point was that clean single or two owner cars are becoming more and more rare on the market, so when someone posts a car like and asks above average value everyone here jumps to the conclusion that its not worth it... well guess what... just because you cant afford it it doesn't mean its not worth the asking price.

SOLD. We were actually offered $6200 and $6000. My wife took the $6k because she got a better vibe from him and felt like he would take better care of the car than the $6200 guy. She cried when he drove away with it.
