MI FS: 2002 Maxima GLE/SE AT Glacial Pearl MINT!!
FS: 2002 Maxima GLE/SE AT Glacial Pearl MINT!!
With great sorrow I am selling my 2002 Maxima. I commute 115 miles a day and am in the process of purchasing a Hybrid or TDI to better suit my needs. I purchased my Maxima in January of 2013 from a friends parents who were the original owners. When I got it there were only 56,000 miles on the odometer and it had been serviced twice a year (they went by time since they put less than 5K a year on it) at a local dealership (I have all of the service records from day one). The car was immaculate inside and out since it was only used to go to church and the grocery store! The car now has 95,000 miles on it but the last 39,000 miles have been all easy highway driving.
Here are the details:
2002 Glacial Pearl GLE/SE (It says this on the original window sticker because it comes with every single options available for both the GLE and the SE except mudguards, but I have a set of rears that will go with the car) with an Automatic Transmission.
Options Included (and absolutely everything works!):
- HID headlights
- Ground effects w/ fog lights
- Rear Spoiler
- Tilt/Slide sunroof
- Heated & Power Driver and Passenger seat
- Memory Driver Seat
- Autodim Rearview mirror
- 6 Disk Bose Stereo
- Heated mirrors
- Heated steering wheel
- Factory Ziebart undercoating (Every cavity, hinge, strut tower mount is coated and even after 12 years in the salt belt, the car is completely rust free!)
- 20% tint installed professionally with ZERO bubbles/tears or problems. (If tints not your thing, it only costs about $100 to have it professionally removed)
Right after buying the car, I installed the 5 wire grounding kit as well as 40 mil clear Lamin-X over the fog lights. I also unplugged the front electronic engine mount to prevent any issues in the future.
The car runs and drives absolutely like new. Everything works, there are no CEL's nor have there ever been (other than not tightening the gas cap enough). The interior is in perfect condition, as well as the exterior. I would give both a 9/10 only because there's always a little bit of wear but much less than a typical 12 year old car. The wheels were curbed a little by the original owner but they still look good and function perfectly. I put new Michelin tires on the car last year and have about 30K miles on them. I spent $900 and they’re warrantied for 80K miles so they should be good to go since I rotate and balance them every 5K miles. The brakes work great with plenty of pad left.
My asking price is $7,900 OBO. I feel that this is a very fair price and is in line with other cars in my area with these kind of miles, and they were probably purchased from an auction. Also, I guarantee you that you will not find another car with this level of meticulously performed and documented maintenance. I am negotiable on the price but I do not want any low ball offers. This car is for someone looking for a properly maintained car that will last for many many more miles and year, not a beater for the winter or their kid. My email is taylor11684@gmail.com or you can text or call me at Seven Three Four-735-9456.
This is the only picture I have right now but I will be taking more pictures of it this weekend after it stops raining.

Price Lowered $500!!! Now only asking $7,900 OBO!
I still think it's worth more but the wife wants it sold. I know blue book value is less but it doesn't take into account the flawless maintenance history and condition of the vehicle. Feel free to come take a look at it and throw me an offer!

I'm going to agree. Do yourself a favor and lower it to $6,000 and you MIGHT get an offer. The meticulous maintenance is appreciated, although not considered when determining value.
Just for those who don't think meticulous maintenance counts, a guy came by with his wife today, he took the car for a drive, and I sold it to them for $7500 cash!!
Thanks for all the helpful information from this forum!
