WA 2002 Maxima Majestic Blue on Frost GLE $4k OBO
2002 Maxima Majestic Blue on Frost GLE $3,250 OBO
Hey guys,
I'm putting up for sale my 2002 GLE. It has 142k miles on it. I have a 7th gen now and really don't need 3 cars. It's VQ35 that doesn't burn much oil (leaks in a few places). Used Amsoil in it since I bought it in 2008. Also worth noting that I had the passenger airbag recall done almost 2 weeks ago. I'm located in North Seattle.
Mods:
Stillen Popcharger
NWP 5 piece spacers
NWP BOP (with the raised NWP logo)
H&R with Tokico Illuminas in front, Tokico Blues in the back
Progress RSB
19" Rays with Continental Extreme Contact DWS 235/35/19 all around, tires only have a couple thousand miles
20% tint all the way around
SE Door handles
00-01 SE tail lights
Blacked out Window Trim
Transmission rebuilt 35k miles ago
Transgo Shift kit with External cooler
SE Gauges
Retrofit heated seats and heated mirrors
Pioneer X910BT Nav Headunit with PAC adapter to factory bose and steering wheel controls, Sirius radio.
Interior LED's
External LED's (Turns and brake using Triton V3 LED's) and VLEDs everywhere else.
Warm White LEDs in gauge cluster
Ionic Dynamics roof spoiler, painted to match
The problems:
Torque converter needs to be replaced. There is not much stall (couple hundred RPM and buzzes at idle. It does cause a too low idle CEL.
Original trunk lid was damaged from an incident at my dad's house. I replaced it with a Gray Lustre one, but never painted it.
Does throw check engine lights for Cam solenoids - they need to be cleaned and that should fix that.
Does throw a check engine light for the VIAS from time to time. That's related to the BOP.
The paint is not perfect. Side skirts and rear wheel arch needs respraying, front is rock chipped pretty bad.
I've been having trouble the the accuracy of the fuel gauge. The cluster probably needs to be replaced.
Engine oil cooler leaks at the o-rings and need replacement.
Rear Valve cover leaks into one of the spark plug holes.
Retro headlights/Cattman exhaust was removed and sold.

Alright, spent the day putting back on the stock intake, VIAS butterfly, stock headlights, and cleaning the intake VTC solenoids. The car is unbelievably (even quieter than my stock 7th gen). I may pull the wheels, but I need some stock17's with decent rubber. Suspension will stay, nav will stay, heated seats and mirrors will stay.
