FS: 2000 Maxima

Happy New Year!

I have been told that Nissan Engineers buy back the Nissan Maxima when they are traded in at 350,000 miles; is this a possibility?

Reason for Question: I have a 2000 Maxima with 200,000 miles which I selling because I have put $9,000.00 into it in the last 5 years. I have attached the flyer I created and copied below along with 2 photos of the car. I would sincerely appreciate any expertise you would be willing to share. Absolutely love the car but way too expensive for my pocketbook.

Thank you............

Are you talking about the generation 4 Maxima they bought back? That was probably a very very rare event.

I think your trim is a SE since it has a spoiler.

No huge visible rust on the wheel well from that one picture so that's good

Yeah, uh... all "engineers" that work for automotive giants buy back absolutely every single vehicle that's been driven more than 350k, spend their salaries fixing them up into brand new condition, and then pile the vehicles up in their garages.

It's a known fact that most automotive recyclers are running out of business because people have been rolling their odometers forwards to rack up 350,000 miles and then pocket thousands of dollars. The McLaren P1 is actually a blend of Jaguars and Range Rovers that were collated together with the best of engineering science and recycled into supercars. It takes 10,000 lead batteries, for example, from Jags and Rovers to convert sufficient battery force to create a li-ion battery bank for one P1.

Welcome to the .org, just please don't tell me that you work (or plan to work) in the medical, nursing or other support worker fields, because if that's the case we're all screwed.

Also it pains me to say that "george is right" (OUCH), but I think he's right - that doesn't look like a GLE. You've got SE wheels, and a spoiler on there.
