Cool car but it needs more time than I want to give.140 000 km 2005 Altima engine installed 2 years ago - all timing gear (chains, guides etc.) done at that time. Guy that did the work got the timing wrong ... not by much ... car runs (it is my daily driver) but vvt is disabled so it's light in the loafers. Missing a bunch of bottom end torque.
Not 100% sure it isn't the computer to be honest. Just got tired of messing with it.
Old engine was GUZZLING oil ... not this one
Car has never EVER not started, never left me stranded.
No time or inclination to pull the timing cover and fix it - so I drive it as is.
Gearbox is perfect, never owned by a boy-racer, Limited slip diff is awesome.
Tein springs done 2 years ago by me. KYB shocks and struts at the same time. Top mounts too.
New clutch and (stock dual mass) flywheel done with engine. Smooth.
Exhaust is good - Flowmaster delta flow muffler. No fart-cans.
Rad is a year-and-a-half old.
Needs (at least one) motor mount.
Interior is about as nice as it gets.
Got my eye on something a bit more "complete".
Feel bad driving this one through another winter - there aren't many left.
