I'm the 2nd owner, have had the car since 2001. It was my wife's daily driver for 10 years and then mine for last 13. It has been maintained as if we were going to own it forever - all synthetic oil and premium gas to this day, garage kept. Very high percentage highway miles (we lived behind a tollway most of this time and drove between Austin/Houston a ton).

Good
I still get 25+ mpg on the highway, accelerates and shifts smoothly, good Bridgestone tires
Retrofit HID headlights - Mini H1 single-projector, bi-xenon, includes moto harness and DDM bulbs/ballasts
Tokico Blue shocks up front, newish Monroe shocks in rear
Front Strut Tower Brace and Rear Anti-sway Bar
Replaced in past few years: AC compressor and condenser, windshield, hood shocks, starter, alternator, rear shocks, charcoal canister and an EVAP valve,
Previously replaced: both front window motors, CV boots, another EVAP valve, valve cover gaskets, AC fan mix motor, motor mounts, other things I've forgotten
Clear corners, red/clear tails, LEDs throughout most of interior including dash gauges

Bad
Sunroof eventually leaks if left out in a lot of rain
Left rear woofer is not working but not really noticeable since it has a subwoofer
Leaks a little oil from timing chain area as most Max's do - not enough to need topping off even once/year but I drive very little

Ugly
It has never been in an accident, all original bumpers, no bondo, but likely has a salvage title for hail damage (hail damage on almost all panels, has been through 2 hail storms). I say likely because it was totaled and I bought it back from insurance company but I only have the original title and not sure if it gets a salvage title if totaled for cosmetic reasons - will confirm.
Driver's seat and steering wheel leather a bit worn, both have matching covers
Duct tape residue around sunroof because that was my temp fix for sunroof leak
